Dat is 20 jaar het hardst werkende vierkoppige powertrio (only in surrealist Belgium) uit de Denderstreek en daarbuiten. The Father, the Son and the Holy Simon begonnen destijds als powertrio en bouwden onmiddellijk een stevige livereputatie op met hun snoeiharde compromisloze bluesrock. Een heilige drievuldigheid werden al snel drie musketiers toen ze later hun eigen D’Artagnan in de vorm van toetsenist Anton Engels toevoegden aan de line-up. Speciaal voor de jubileum shows werd Dominiek Vermeiren, de percussionist wizard geëngageerd. De gekte was nu compleet. Razende live-shows, gierende gitaarsolo’s en ritmesectie die bonkt als de pacemaker van je oma.

Het werd hoog tijd dat het belangrijkste exportproduct uit Dendermonde, in Dendermonde zelf het podium van Bastion Vijf zou vernietigen. Noch Kim Kay, noch Vanessa Chinitor zouden het hen nadoen.
